TIPH Ambassador Nomination 2022-2023 Cohort

  • Nominations to the Ambassador Program need to be submitted by a faculty or staff member at a member institution. Self nominations, submitted by the student, will need a faculty or staff referral. 

    Ambassadors will need to commit approximately five hours per month to working with us, specifically through participation in Virtual Fairs, Slack engagement and social media, as well as talking to current undergraduate students. In return, they will:

    • Have the opportunity to post on social media to spread awareness of public health
    • Be provided opportunities to showcase their research/practicum/capstone projects
    • Have the ability to share information about their program and institution
    • Gain professional development and the ability to network with professionals in the field of Public Health
    • Receive free TIPH swag

    To be eligible to participate, students must:

    • Be in good standing with their institution
    • Actively seeking a graduate-level degree, either part-time or full-time, with a graduation date no earlier than spring 2023
    • Be active in their public health community and/or institution

    We are looking for students who have/are:

    • Excellent communication skills
    • Leadership abilities
    • Innovative/creative thinkers
    • Engaging
    • Reliable
    • Positive/enthusiastic toward public health and higher education

    If you know an enthusiastic student who would be a great ambassador, please nominate them on this form. We will select up to two participants from each ASPPH member school for the 2022-2023 cohort. Nominations are due by Monday, May 23rd.
